It is a full-time role for a Operations Specialist working with the COO team at Ephelia Group in the UK. You will be responsible for all elements of card and payment processing, as well as capturing procedures, designing controls and ensuring their rigid application. Some work from home is acceptable, however the expectation is that you will be in the office 3 days a week for collaboration, discussion and team building.Role DetailPayment processing process and allocate payments promptly and accurately ensuring all card and e-money transactions are completed. Monitor and track payment workflows, ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs.Reconciliations perform reconciliations between ledgers and troubleshoot issues to ensure transactions have been processed correctly. Identifying and resolving issues independently.Product support support the strategic growth of the company by participating in requirements definition, product development, testing and release.Procedures draft and review operating procedures to ensure they are correctly captured; recommend improvements and redesign processes where necessary.Process proactively identifying opportunities for process improvements in line with internal controls and accounting standards.Client Services - respond to customer and internal queries regarding payments, ensuring clear and timely communication.Reporting supporting month-end reporting and data capture and maintaining accurate records.Knowledge and experience that will help you succeed in the role:Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a Financial Services organisation processing transactions and reconciling records; a strong understanding of the end-to-end payment processing workflowSkills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a knowledge of business process modeling; experience of capturing and communicating business requirements;Tools: Proficiency in using Financial Software and Payment systems. Proficiency in excel, jira and confluence. A process-driven mindset with excellent attention to detailIndustry: An understanding of payment processing and the fintech stakeholders in the Payments ecosystem; familiarity with international and domestic payment networksQualities: Organised, diligent, collaborative and a strong attention to detailBachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or a related field is desirable but not essential.Package 32,000 - 38,000 depending on experience level; plus benefitsStructure Authorisation to work in the UK is essential to this role we do not support sponsorship.
