Roles & ResponsibilitiesDevelop closed-loop test systems using LabView within their existing hardware frameworks Design and build bespoke HIL systems, including electronic circuits, PCB layouts and material fabrications Create automated test frameworks to improve efficiency and reliability in testing Maintain internal HIL systems, troubleshooting integration issues between hardware and software components Working with wider Test team to perform debugging and validation of systems and rapid prototypes Providing coaching and mentoring of Junior Test Engineers and Electronic Engineers Provide regular test updates to customers to outline technical diagnosis of system related issues and work with wider personnel to help find effective and efficient solutions Skills & ExperienceDegree, HND or Apprenticeship in Electronic Engineering or similar field Demonstrable experience and understanding of automotive systems and communication protocols Proven experience working with wiring diagrams, BOMs and simulation design diagrams Experience in maintaining and developing hardware and software systems Proven experience in LabView development essential (Certified LabView Developer qualification a big bonus) In depth knowledge of test life cycle and protocols About Express RecruitmentExpress Recruitment has been offering exceptional recruitment solutions across the East Midlands since 1987, exceeding expectations every time of over 267,000 candidates.We supply a diverse range of sectors including Engineering, Technology, Professional Services, Languages, Sales & Marketing, Call Centres, Commercial, Manufacturing, Local Authority, NHS, Education and Voluntary organisations.
