Senior Quantity SurveyorLocation: Raynes Park, South West LondonSalary: 75,000 - 82,000 per annum + BenefitsType: Permanent, full-timeThe position:Salter Grange is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial management of a c.80m build programme. This exciting project involves building 400 units across 4 block which is due to be completed within 18 months and then to commence the build of 900 units meaning there is a strong pipeline of work.Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage project budgets, including detailed cost reporting and forecastingLead the procurement process for subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring the best value while maintaining quality and programme requirementsPrepare and manage contracts, ensuring compliance and minimising riskManage valuations, certify subcontractor payments, and ensure accurate record-keepingAssess variations, value changes, and negotiate with clients and contractors to ensure financial controlIdentify and manage financial risks and opportunities to ensure the project remains commercially viableProvide detailed cost reports and financial updates to the Commercial Manager and senior leadershipWork closely with the site team, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial mattersMaintain strong relationships with clients, providing clear updates and financial transparency throughout the project lifecycleRequirements:Proven track record as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor on large-scale residential build projectsDegree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field; membership with RICS or equivalent professional body is desirableExcellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environmentHigh level of accuracy in cost reporting and forecastingIf you wish to be considered for this opportunity then please apply with your most up to date CV now.
