Our client is a newly established automotive service provider, looking for a highly skilled Mechanic to help shape and grow their workshop operations. Key Responsibilities Perform a wide range of mechanical repairs, servicing, diagnostics, and MOT preparations ( MOT tester status is a bonus ). Provide expert advice on repair options while ensuring outstanding customer service. Assist in developing and refining workshop processes and operational standards. Work proactively to grow the business, delivering high-quality workmanship and fostering relationships within the local community. Operate diagnostic equipment, tools, and garage software effectively. Qualifications & Requirements A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a qualified mechanic. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a committed, close-knit team. A proactive mindsetready to contribute to shaping and growing a new garage. Relevant qualifications ( NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent ). Full UK driving licence (essential).
