Typical clients include Government, Utilities, Healthcare, MOJ and MOD to name a few.What will you be doingCreate, maintain, promote and review on a regular basis a safe environment for allactivities associated in delivery of the project.Provide expert advice to the Security Infrastructure team on all levels of Health,Safety, Environmental and Compliance matters.Maintain (in collaboration with line management), all appropriate policies andprocedures to ensure all statutory requirements are complied with.To ensure that the Customers Health and Safety culture continues to be ingrainedwithin the culture of the G4S Security Infrastructure team.To act as the lead figure in liaising with the Customers and other ContractorsHealth, Safety, Environmental and Compliance teams on a daily basis, ensuringand assuring compliance across the board.In conjunction with the Installation and Service Leads, to assist in the productionof Risk Assessments, Method Statements and other documentation as required togain Permits to Work in a timely mannerWhat we are looking forEITHER a Qualified Health and Safety Professional with a minimum of 2 years ina similar role OR an experienced Security Systems Engineer with a goodunderstanding of NSI and Health Safety standards and a minimum of 5 yearsexperience, and looking for the next step in their careerProfessional attitude to work with Can Do Attitude, its not my job will not beacceptable. Willing to work out of business hours where deadlines necessitate iscritical. A strong desire to seize an opportunity, learn new skills and progresstheir careerTeam Player, comfortable to proactively engage and negotiate priorities withEngineers, Managers, Customer Representatives and other Health, Safety andCompliance teams on siteGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Excel andPowerPoint. Fluent in written and spoken English with good communicationskills.
