Job Description

This is a great opportunity to join a family-run Tier One civil engineering contractor. The company offers a non-bureaucratic working environment along with the chance to work on larger, more complex, and prestigious civil engineering projects.As a Site Agent, you will be working on a major infrastructure-led regeneration project located in central York. The project involves extensive coordination with multiple third parties, including Network Rail.In this role, you will lead all of the planning and construction delivery of several bridges and reinforced earth structures. This is a highly technical package of works that will include tandem lifts over live rail.You will be:Developing the construction programme and monitor weekly targets Managing the relationship with the sub-contractors Owning HSEQS protocols on siteMaintaining quality control procedures Ensuring that the TWR is in place and is up to date Monitoring onsite energy and waste data Managing change and any events that have the potential to impact the effective deliveryDriving and motivating your team to meet the pace of the projectCoordinating and prioritising the sequence of activities on site To be successful in this role, you will:Hold a relevant qualification in Civil Engineering (HNC, HND, or Degree).Have significant site-based experience on civil engineering projectsHave experience of working to Network Rail processes and specificationsHave a valid CSCS Card and either SSSTS or SMSTSOn offer is a salary of 65,000 - 70,000 per annum, a car allowance, DC pension, private medical insurance, 26 days holiday etcInterested?
