From initial Consultation to Design and Deployment, Support and Maintenance well future proof your business for scalable EV expansion.About the RoleThe Senior Project Manager (SPM) will take full responsibility for a portfolio of construction projects across the project lifecycle. In addition, take PM line reporting responsibility providing outstanding leadership. The role will interact closely with the head of construction (who directly report), SHEQ, commercial, sales and wider teams in the business. In addition, the job holder will be accountable for SHEQ, programme and commercial status across assigned portfolio. Actively participating in specific project Governance. The role provides clear leadership and vision, to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence. The role is at the forefront of designing and delivering an expansion strategy to grow the team as the business expands across the UK/EU.Responsibilities Define and drive Delivery strategy and roadmapTake responsibility for programme and commercial across assigned construction project portfolio driving project excellenceTake reporting for PMs across assigned project portfolioTake responsibility for programme management oversight for the assigned project portfolioTake responsibility for compliance to construction governance is in place across assigned project portfolioWork closely with pre-construction manager in preparing project mobilisation activityWork closely with Commercial stakeholders to ensure the project deliverables are fully understood and executed on time as per project cycleContribute to the internal matrix support framework, ensuring that supporting aspects within the project cycle are in place and fit for BAUResponsible for ensuring Health, Safety and Environmental issues are prioritised and facilitate and drive continuous Improvement across assigned project portfolioTake responsibility for meeting SHEQ auditing targets for assigned project portfolioPlay an active supporting role supporting the platform businessStaying up to date with industry best practices to educate clients and internal teams on the advantages of various design and implementation options to meet business and technical requirements within the EV sectorResponsible for ensuring assigned project portfolio is live within SitetrackerComplete project reviews with stakeholders for assigned project portfolioLeadership Inspire and engage people within the Delivery business units to love being part of EOInspire, motivate, and guide others toward accomplishment of EO goals and objectives; encourage and facilitate cooperation within the company to develop a common focus; and develop leadership skills in others through coaching, mentoring, rewarding and guiding employees.Collaborate with the Director of Delivery to ensure the common goals are understood, communicated, and implemented to mee the organisational goalsBuild and cultivate strong internal customer relationships to establish engagement for the Fleet and Amazondelivery business unit and ensure execution delivery is in alignment with expectationsMaintain high standards of professional conduct at all times and protect and preserve the goals, values, and reputation of EO.Demonstrate the highest ethical standards and sustain a culture of doing the right thingRequirementsExperience in a equivalent SPM role or demonstratable complex project management experience, ideally gained within utilities, electrical facilities constructionProject Management/Technical related qualificationDemonstrate an understanding of the ecosystem approach to EV adoption on a large scaleDemonstrate programme management experience with a delivery business unitExperience of leading people, growing capabilities with ability communicate at all levelsAbility to perform a key role within a governance frameworkCommercially aware with a strong proven background in infrastructure project delivery and associated contractsProven ability in working with and providing leadership to sub-contractor frameworksAbility to collaborate and lead ensuring compliance to health, safety, and environmental legislation. Able to minimise risk through developing and endorsing safe operating processesProven track record of delivering targets whilst maintaining outstanding customer relations/ services
