Job Title: Engineering Co-OrdinatorLocation: MidlandsJob Type: 6 month (FTC)Salary: 25,467Hours - 40 hours per weekJob Summary:You will ensure an efficient & effective fluid workflow of engineer activities, positive progression of workflow planning and issue management through to completion, whilst maintaining a positive customer experience through regular communication with stakeholders & customers as necessary.Key Responsibilities:Working with the relevant teams both internal and external to Airband to ensure the installation/maintenance 'service of Airbands fibre & FWA networks from site to the customer premise are as efficient and effective as possible.Read and understand technical drawing and specification sheets including our current fibre planning software (Vetro/fibre cloud)Liaising with external companies and agencies to facilitate the installations required, such as Joint User Pole agreements, Traffic Management and Wayleaves.Assisting other Airband engineering teams across the UK where necessary to support customer needs or project timescales.Liaising with both colleagues and customers; keeping in regular contact & provide updates/reports as necessary to stakeholdersConducting utility/line searches when necessary to ensure the team are working safely.Report to the Network Delivery Manager daily on any issues/risks that may delay the agreed workflow with a more detailed report of work completion, achievements & issues as required.Working in accordance with the clients and customers Health and Safety requirementsSchedule work tasks for all engineering teams on salesforce or equivalent systems, ensuring all work is accounted for and documentedSpeaking with site owners on occasions to book access and resolve any potential access issuesRemaining up to date with relevant legislation and requirements pertinent to the activities of the Airband engineering teamsUpdating company reporting documents to disseminate information as required.Raise purchase orders when required and track through to delivery/completionKey skillFacilitating the co-ordination and installation of Airbands broadband delivery to customers, via the resolution of installation challengesProvide support and effective engineer coordination for all engineering teams.Work with all engineering teams to maintain a time critical, cost effective and customer centric workflow.Ability to communication with a broad customer base plus interdepartmental contacts.Ability to work with minimum supervisionWork as part of a collaborative team.Be able to prioritise, organise and manage tasks.Good observational and analytical skills and a good eye for detail.Well-presented and have good presentation skillsDesirable:Street Works Unit 02 SLGLANTRA Traffic Management SchemeWhat can Airband Offer you?Company Vehicle25 days of paid leave a year rising to 30 plus bank holidays with service.5% Airband pension plus a minimum 3% employee contribution.Customer referral bonus - a thank you for every customer you send our way.We offer hybrid working a mix of working from home and in the office.Free Broadband - If you are in our coverage, you can benefit from free broadband with us!20% off your monthly line rental on EEs phone, tablet, SIM only or mobile broadband plans.Cycle to work, Tech scheme, Healthcare and medical insurance.
