Engine Test Technician Location: StaffordKey Responsibilities:Build and test engines to meet customer requirements.Prepare engines for testing, including pre-rigging and instrumentation setup.Conduct data measurement, collection, and analysis using test bed controls.Ensure the quality of test bed data and support engineers with testing methods and results.Qualifications:Education: City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in automotive mechanics or equivalent.Experience:3+ years with diesel/gas engine test programs.Mechanical/electrical experience in engines.Familiarity with engine test systems and ECU controller software.Hands-on experience with instrumentation.Basic knowledge of low voltage electrical systems.Skills Required:Ability to follow engineers instructions for tests and provide quality data.Strong attention to detail and continuous improvement mindset.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Customer-focused, motivated, and able to work independently.
