Youll play a key role in the safe and efficient running of critical infrastructure, working within a close-knit and forward-thinking team that values safety, curiosity and practical problem-solving.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company making a real impact in clean energy, where your work will directly support hydrogen production and help build a sustainable future.What youll be doingCarry out all electrical maintenance, inspections and repairs across Hydrogen plant equipment and infrastructureEnsure all work meets internal and external regulatory standards and aligns with high safety expectationsSupport the Electrical Foreman in planning maintenance activities using the companys digital planning systemProvide high and low voltage electrical isolations to enable safe working across plant areasReview and manage method statements, risk assessments and contractor activities on siteRespond to out-of-hours breakdowns on a rota basis (compensated) to minimise downtimeTroubleshoot and resolve plant issues, identifying opportunities to improve reliabilitySupport small project work, including scoping, costing and completing change management documentationWed love to speak with you if you have:A completed electrical apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience in industrial environmentsA proactive, safety-first mindset and confidence making real-time business and safety decisionsA valid UK driving licence to travel between the Middlesbrough and Teesside sitesCuriosity and problem-solving skills, you enjoy fault finding and continuous improvementIdeally an HNC or higher in Electrical Engineering (desirable but not essential)Advantageous (but not essential) qualifications: 18th Edition, S4 High Voltage, CompEx Inspection & InstallationWhats in it for you?A secure, long-term opportunity with a company driving clean energy solutionsCompetitive salary and on-call pay25 days holiday + bank holidays + flexible leave optionsPension, life assurance and employee well-being programmesRecognition & reward platform with discounts at major retailersClear training and development paths to help you grow within the businessNext StepsOur client is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive workplace.
