HV Service Technician - 6 month rolling contract Offshore/Onshore - Day rate, outside IR35 - WEIZ trainingWe are looking for an experienced HV Service Technician to work on both offshore and onshore projects. We are looking for someone who has experience in offshore wind with the WEIZ training.The contract is initially 6 months.Responsibilities:HV Servicing and trouble shooting up to 33kVServicing of equipment such as CTs, VTs , transformers and switch gearTroubleshooting on HV EquipmentAssisting and helping with the retrofits on the obsolete equipment/partsMaintenance on HV equipmentReplacement of components such as switch gear and transformersMonitoring of testsAssisting with electrical testing on the equipmentApplying electrical safety throughoutRequirements:Must have experience in offshore wind, networks, power stations, battery storage or oil and gas.2-3 years experience working as a HV technicianSolid electrical backgroundExperience and understanding of a range of different models and products: Transformers, switch gear ect.Must have WEIZ trainingLogistics:Outside IR3512 hours per day6 month contract2/2 rotationCTVTravel and accommodation coveredIf you are looking for a new role and you are a well seasoned HV Service Technician then please send your CV to josie.wade@hunterphilips.com
