JOB - Engineering ManagerLOCATION - NottinghamTERM - PermanentSALARY - 55,000 to 65,000 per annum (plus benefits)Premier Engineering is working with a growing engineering and manufacturing company based in Nottingham that is looking to hire an Engineering Manager to lead their technical team. Experience in FMCG or working with food machinery would be highly beneficial.The Engineering Manager will ideally have the following attributes:A background in mechanical or electrical engineering with strong leadership skillsExperience in a senior engineering or management role within a manufacturing or production environmentKnowledge of FMCG processes or food machinery is highly desirableProven ability to manage a team of engineers and techniciansStrong understanding of preventative maintenance, equipment reliability, and lean manufacturingExcellent organisational and project management skillsConfident in communicating with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholdersAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple prioritiesRelevant qualifications such as HND, HNC, BEng or equivalent in an engineering disciplineThe Engineering Manager role will involve:Leading and managing the engineering team to ensure smooth operation of all machinery and systemsDeveloping and implementing maintenance strategies and continuous improvement initiativesOverseeing engineering projects and ensuring they are delivered on time and within budgetEnsuring compliance with health 'safety and industry regulationsSupporting the development of junior engineers and fostering a culture of technical excellenceWorking closely with other departments including production, operations, and qualityManaging budgets, resources, and supplier relationshipsIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up-to-date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and salary expectations.
