As a leading planning consultancy, we work with an impressive range of public and private sector clients, providing expert advice and securing planning permissions for high-profile development projects across the UK.We have a continuously expanding and diverse workload, offering an exciting variety of projects across multiple sectors. We are dedicated to helping you achieve your career goals and aspirations at every stage of your journey with an emphasis on offering opportunities for learning and growth, enabling you to reach your full potential.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with clients to understand their planning needs and guide them through the planning process.Lead and manage a vast range of projects and clients.Prepare and submit planning applications, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.Work on Planning projects in various regimes, such as Marine, Environmental, Renewable and Major Infrastructure.Engage with stakeholders, local authorities, and communities to advocate for projects.Conduct thorough assessments to support Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA).Manage EIA projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to standards.Stay current with planning legislation, policy updates, and best practices in the field.What Were Looking ForRelevant qualifications in planning and at least 3+ years experiencePreferably Chartered with the RTPIStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.A proactive approach to problem-solving and project management.Work and mentor junior staffExperience in planning consultancy or EIA management is desirableA commitment to sustainability and responsible development.WHAT WE OFFER YOUCompetitive salary and excellent flexible benefits packageComprehensive training opportunities and reimbursement of professional feesContributory pension, personal health care plan and life insuranceInterest-free travel loan scheme33 days annual leave (inclusive of Public Holidays)Annual leave purchase and buy-back schemeBonus Schemes including loyalty bonus and qualifications awardAdditional benefits may vary between officesYou can learn more about our staff benefits here.
