TEXO have a fantastic opportunity for an NDT Inspector to join our Utilities team located in Glasgow. This role involves conducting high-quality inspections across national worksites, ensuring compliance with industry standards.Key Responsibilities:Conduct Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Level 2 inspections on utility infrastructure.Perform Phased Array, Eddy Current Testing (ECT), Visual Testing (VT), and Pulsed Eddy Current (PECT) where applicable on pipelines, structures, and other assets in outdoor/countryside environments.Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.Work closely with clients and project teams to deliver accurate inspection reports.Maintain NDT equipment as needed.Travel to national worksites and adapt to wet, muddy, or challenging terrain.Requirements:SQA National 5 Maths, English, Computers/IT & Physics - EssentialFull driving licence and over 21(for insurance) - EssentialGlasgow or Scotland central belt based - EssentialOutdoors/groundwork/site work experience - EssentialSQA Higher or equivalent Science or Engineering qualifications - PreferredExperience with Non-Destructive Testing, Engineering fabrication or site Quality Control - PreferredVocational qualification in above - PreferredTo apply please contact Cheryl Demus at TEXO Recruitment on 01224 446789 or send your CV to cheryl.demus@texorecruitment.co.uk
