Engineering PlannerLocation: EdinburghSalary: CompetitiveWe are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Engineering Planner to support our FMCG clients maintenance and reliability strategies. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of their engineering team by managing work schedules, optimising planned maintenance, and improving overall equipment effectiveness.Key Responsibilities:Plan & Schedule Maintenance Develop, coordinate, and improve planned maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability.CMMS Management Maintain and optimise the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring accurate reporting and data integrity.Performance Analysis Analyse equipment downtime and work order history to drive continuous improvement and increase asset efficiency.Preventative Maintenance Implement strategies to transition from reactive to proactive maintenance, reducing unplanned downtime.Team Support Work closely with engineers, production teams, and site leadership to ensure maintenance schedules align with operational needs.Continuous Improvement Support site-wide engineering improvement projects using CI/Lean methodologies.What Were Looking For:Engineering background (apprenticeship/day release training preferred).Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, Tier 1 automotive, or industrial environments.Strong analytical, planning, and organisational skills.Proficiency with CMMS systems and high-level computer literacy.Knowledge of condition monitoring and preventative maintenance strategies.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Why Join?You will have the opportunity to work with big brands, work within a dynamic work environment, with career progression opportunities, and the chance to be part of an industry-leading team.Apply now or contact:Caroline Strachancstrachan@weareninetwenty.com
