OLG Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an Electrically Biased Contracts Engineer to join a client based in Grimsby. This is a permanent role, with the possibility of hybrid working.Ideally, you will have experience working with Hazardous Areas, and industrial E&I construction project/maintenance experience. They need to have been hands on within an industrial setting as part of the job role would include cost estimating Electrically biased industrial projects.We are looking for a positive, motivated, and self-driven individual. This role requires managing multiple projects simultaneously, so prioritising tasks and effective communication skills are essential. Hazardous area experience is highly desirable, as most of the projects are within hazardous environments.Job role:Managing multiple industrial projects ensuring delivery on time and in budgetDevelop and execute project plans and schedulesCost estimating electrically biased projectsOverseeing project delivery including cost control, procurement, delays/ variations and risksAttending site visits for cost estimating, project management and client relationshipOrganise and manage the field team to achieve project scopes effectively and to a high standardPromoting and ensuring H&S standards are followedEstablishing and managing client and supplier relationshipsEssential Skills:HND/HNC or fully qualified electrician with appropriate level of experienceMinimum 2 years experience in a Contract / Project Management roleCompetent Engineer with hands on Industrial Electrical experienceFully proficient in Microsoft systems and IT literateExcellent people and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with a team ethosFull clean driving licence and ability to travel around the UK and overseas if requiredDesirable Skills:Project Management QualificationCompEx Ex01-Ex04CompEx Ex12CAD ExperienceNEBOSHPackage:40 hours per week Monday FridayPAYE Salary of 50,000 to 55,000 p/a based on experience/ qualificationsCar allowance of 6,000 per year paid monthly Bonus scheme based on company/individual performance (large bonus pot available)34 days holiday (inc of bank holidays on passing probationary period)Service awards (bonus + additional holidays)Private Health Care (BIK deductible)Income ProtectionDeath in Service
