HV EnergySolutions is committed to ensuring efficient and reliable solutions forits clientsYour Mission:To perform installation, commissioning, modification and maintenanceof electrical distribution equipment at UK and overseas locationsTraveling to various locations in UK & Overseas,Your Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise/perform the following activities (at UK, overseas andoffshore locations) on switchgear, transformers and related equipmentbetween the voltage range of 33 - 400kV.off-loading of new panels, switchgear and transformersInstallation of new panels.Commissioning of Electrical Equipment.Wiring Modifications and Retrofit upgradesPlanned Maintenance - From visual to intrusive across our productrange.Partial Discharge testing, thermal imaging, oil samples etcSystems testing and fault diagnosis.IEC 61850, G99, Differential, Distance schemes.Working in a safe environment - Perform site risk assessments andassist in producing method statementsDocument test results and produce site work reports.Contribute to the formulation of offers for site activities.Assist with works tests when necessaryContribute to customer training activitiesPromote the Company's service activities, identify and pursue businessopportunitiesParticipate in the OnCall rota system to provide emergency support toour customers 24/7.Supervising personnel onsite which will include members of your ownteam and sub-contractorsLiaising with the installation/project managersImportant Criteria for this role:Produce site reports/ test results within 2 working days of completinga contract.Complete time sheets, expenses on a weekly basis.Complete Health & Safety documentation on a weekly basis whilst in asupervisory role.Complete Method Statements & Risk assessments within timescalesset.Complete installations & maintenance against agreed timescales.Qualifications:About You:Previous working experience of installation, commissioningnaintenance & repair of switchgear & associated plant.Have experience of working alone and as part of a team at UKoverseas and offshore locations.Be customer/results focused and demonstrate a 'service dispositionBe willing to work at nuclear, military and offshore locationsHold a full driving licenseBe well grounded in the principles & application of electrical safetyfrom the risks associated with live HV networks.Demonstrate appropriate underpinning knowledge in the form ofacademic qualifications (e.g.Degree/HNC) or relevant experienceGood experience of High Voltage Testing (33kV- 400kV systems), CTMagnetisation Curves and CT Primary InjectionExperience of Relay Secondary Injection (Both electromechanical andsolid state relays) and VT Primary Injection.Experience of Control Circuit Wiring testing & modification andMechanical/Electrical function testing of 33kV - 400kV switchboards &networks.At HV Energy Solutions Ltd.
