Junior CAD Operator Huhtamaki Foodservice Delta Ltd is a manufacturer of high quality printed folding carton and paper packaging products.In order to make an application, simply read through the following job description and make sure to attach relevant documents.As a multi-site Company, we operate production facilities in Belfast and Antrim utilising the very latest printing technologies to provide safe and responsible packaging for some of the worlds largest brand owners.An excellent career opportunity has arisen for a focused individual to join our team in the role of Junior Cad Operator.Reporting to the Cad Manager the successful candidate willbe responsible for designing carton packaging solutions across a varied range of products, creating layouts for pricing and ultimately ordering production tooling dies and ancillaries.The role requires experience of 2d Cad software, preferably ArtiosCad and understanding design within the folding carton manufacturing sector.Main Responsibilities Designing packaging solutions in accordance with Customers requirements.Generate design documents and sheet layouts for pricing jobs, tooling & material requirements.Assist other members of the Cad team as required.Take part in ongoing training to further develop Cad capabilities.Convert supplied drawings / files to Huhtamaki templates for internal use.Create innovative packaging solutions whilst adhering to manufacturing constraints.Collating all design related documentation and filing both digitally and in hard copy.The successful candidate will hold the following: Essential Criteria Experience & Education Educated to degree level.Experienced in the use of 2d cad design software.Ability to support the manufacturing/production environment and meet targets.GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or equivalent.Good Computer Literacy.Personal attributes: Able to work both as an individual or team member.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Meticulous attention to detail.Ability to liaise with internal stakeholders and other departments.Confident in performing own quality control.Awareness of Health & Safety considerations within the work environment.Desirable Criteria: Degree in relevant Discipline.Competency in ArtiosCad software.Experience in folded carton design.Project Management Experience.Understanding of printed carton manufacturing processes.Ability to think outside the box regarding design innovation.Skills: CAD Design innovative
