Justteachers is seeking a passionate and skilled Design and Technology Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Northampton area. This is a full-time, long-term position, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, covering a range of specialisms such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, or Engineering.Take on full classroom responsibilities, including lesson planning, assessment, marking, and behaviour management.Foster creativity, problem-solving, and practical skills through hands-on learning and project-based work.Support and inspire students of all abilitiesPrepare students for GCSE coursework and exams, monitoring progress through assessments.To be considered for this role, candidates must have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)or equivalent teaching qualification.Proven experienceteaching Design and Technology at KS3 and KS4.Strong knowledge of theUK DT curriculumand experience in using relevant tools and equipment.Two recent, education-based references.This is an excellent opportunity for adedicated and innovative DT teacherto make a meaningful impact in asupportive and well-resourcedschool environment.TPBN1_UKTJ
