We''re looking to add a Project Engineer to our team here at Vipond, for an onsite role, initially Glasgow and Warrington. This opportunity would suit someone looking to take the next step to becoming a Project Manager. SALARY: Upto 40K depedant on expereince 31 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays Company vehicle Bonus Company pension (3% employer contribution) Employee Referral Scheme (500 per hire) Responsibilities: Contributing to project Initiation/handover meetings with all stakeholders including Sales, Design, QS. Production and maintenance of project Programme. Communication with clients throughout the life of a project. Maintenance of central project file records. Attendance at internal project Cost To Complete (CVR) meetings. Completion and submission to relevant stakeholders of all end-of-project documentation e.g. O&M, As-Fitted Drawings, Certification. Knowledge: Working knowledge of engineering drawings. Experience in managing small and large budget projects (5k to 2m) in the construction industry. Practiced at management/supervision of on-site labour & resources. Hold a current & relevant SMSTS & CSCS Card Holder. Knowledge of CDM Management Principles. Holds a relevant NVQ/NHD/HNC/City & Guilds within Building Services or Mechanical discipline. As a Sprinkler Project Engineer you will support the Project / Site Manager(s) within the Main Contracts (Special Risk division) to deliver fire protection projects on time, to budget and in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements. You will gain valuable experience in working on a variety of projects ranging from commercial, energy from waste, warehouses, distribution centers, etc.
