This is an broad finance opportunity for an accountant with insurance and/or reinsurance experience to join a small MGA operation as they continue to grow. This broad role is being hired Initially on a six months FTC but has real potential to go longer term as the company continues their expansion. Core responsibilities will include Production of the monthly management accounts for the UK entity Preparation of the technical and non technical trial balance including review of financial data, general ledger reconciliations, balance sheet and P&L Supporting with analysis of financial and management information Production of the client money calculations Reporting on both credit control and cash flow positions Assisting with the preparation of financial data for external parties including rating agencies Support on a variety of finance transformation projects You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with direct experience of working within the re/insurance market (broker, MGA or carrier).
