Project Manager – Civils / InfrastructureUp to £75k Basic Salary, Car/Allowance, Fuel Card & Attractive Benefits PackageYorkshireWe are currently looking for a Project Manager with experience on Highways, Structures, Street works and General Civils to join the Civils Division of a multi-faceted regional contractor on projects in Yorkshire across the M62 corridor.ROLE RESPONSIBILITYThe Project Manager will ensure all safety, technical and commercial objectives are met initially focussing on projects including public realm, 278 schemes, cycle ways and road re-alignments.The Project Manager will be accountable for, but not limited to:Leading a team of internal staff and a team of external specialist subcontractorsDeveloping and delivering a portfolio of highway and structures projectsManaging site staff performanceProviding health and safety leadership to the operational delivery teamsComplying with all relevant HSE legislationSupporting as required the estimating and planning process for the projectEnsuring sufficient and competent resources are in place for the delivery of the project and project objectives are communicatedDeveloping and maintaining programmes through the project life cycle and ensuring works are delivered against the contract programmeLeading the project risk management process and ensuring effective controls are established to support delivery of the projectEnsuring project opportunities are identified and realised to maintain and improve the commercial project performancePromoting and maintaining effective client/stakeholder relationships to protect and enhance company reputation leading to repeat businessUpholding the core company values and inspiring and encouraging the same throughout the teamEnsuring that all mandatory reporting of KPI’s, Near Misses, accidents and incidents are carried out as per AGC and Client proceduresTHE IDEAL CANDIDATEWe are looking for a candidate with previous Project Management experience within an operational environment who possesses the following skills/experience:Relevant Civil Engineering Degree, be in possession of relevant equivalent experience.NEC Contract management experience is desirable.You’ll also have a high level of commercial acumen and be a confident and articulate communicator.IN RETURNYou will be working within a division who boast an exceptionally low turnover of staff, due to framework wins amongst others have a steady and reliable pipeline of work, enjoy good working conditions and deliver a variety of projects where no two jobs are the same!For full details of the role please click the link to apply or contact me on 07974 157 401 or forward your CV in confidence to
