Responsibilities:Manage the day-to-day operations of the bookshop and retail space, including editions and merchandise. Curate the selection of books, merchandise, and editions in collaboration with ICA’s programming teams, ensuring alignment with exhibitions, events, and the ICA’s mission. Oversee stock management, ordering, pricing, and product displays. Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue from retail offerings. Collaborate with artists and creators to develop exclusive ICA merchandise and editions. Coordinate book launches and talks in relation to liaising with publishers, audience engagement strategy, and income generation targets. Supervise and train retail staff, ensuring excellent customer service. Manage online retail platforms, ensuring smooth sales and fulfilment processes. Prepare and analyse sales reports, set targets, and monitor performance against KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and revenue growth. Work closely with the Finance team for reconciliation and stock management. Skills & Experience:Proven experience in retail management, including merchandising, stock control, and customer service. Experience with retail software (e.g., Booksolve, Shopify, Spektrix) and e-commerce platforms. Knowledge of contemporary art and culture is desirable.#J-18808-Ljbffr
