If you're a Quantity Surveyor who's keen to make a move to a successful, growing business - we're keen to share details of this fantastic opportunity!This established organisation specialise in quantity surveying services for major construction projects, retail & leisure, healthcare and education sectors offering pre and post contract services, as well as dispute resolution and project management.The company are an award-winning local employer, who are committed to offering support, development and progression along with working on some super exciting projects.As a Quantity Surveyor in this growing company, you will do all aspects of quantity surveying and estimating from pre-contract through to post-contract services, including preparing final accounts and claims and attending client meetings.Key areas of focus will be:Carry out estimating and quantity surveying servicesPrepare detailed measures and compile BQ documentsPrepare feasibility studies and cost plansManage bid submissions and price tender submissionsProvide the lead on commercial and financial adviceProvide procurement and contract adviceMaximise value recovery, cost control and cash management on projects worked onProtection of the Company's contractual position on projects worked onProduce and agree accounts on projects worked onPrepare budgetary advice including cash flowsPrepare financial reports as requiredLead on the resolution of disputesPrepare final accounts and claim documentsAssist with the development of the businessIdeally, you'll be qualified to degree level with RICS professional membership.You'll be able to build and maintain excellent working relationships internally and with clients, be able to prioritise as well as being commercial astute.The ability to read and understand technical documents and interpret contracts is essential.This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team, working for a business that offers a competitive salary and benefits package along with a clear progression path.Location:Ely, CambridgeshireHours:Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pmSalary:Very competitive salary and benefits on offerEA First Ltd are acting as an Employment Agency for this permanent vacancy.
