This includes creating and maintaining project schedules, managing project financials, and driving continuous improvement in project management practices. The role demands a proactive approach to identifying risks and resolving issues, fostering collaboration within the project team and across departments.Key Responsibilities:Lead the delivery of assigned projects, ensuring successful completion within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Act as the primary point of contact with customers to ensure their requirements are met and expectations managed.Create and maintain project schedules, including resource requirements and budgets.Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve resource conflicts and project challenges.Track project performance, including key metrics and financials, identifying areas for improvement.Maintain accurate project data in project management tools and systems.Lead regular project review meetings, both internally and with customers, to communicate progress and resolve issues.Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery through lessons learned sessions.Candidate Profile:Qualifications and Education:Qualified to a minimum of a Level 3 standard (A Levels, apprenticeship, or equivalent).Technical Skills and Experience:Proven experience managing multiple projects.A successful track record of delivering projects within time, budget, and quality constraints.Understanding of project management methodologies.Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Excel, and other relevant software.Project management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP).Experience in defence or manufacturing sectors.Experience with using an ERP or MRP system.Contact Simon 07513 825783
