Our office in Reading, UK, has an opening for a Human Resources Generalist.Job SummaryThe Human Resources Generalist serves as the HR representative for the EMEA office and is responsible for record keeping and documentation and is the primary contact person for any HR-related queries.Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponds to employee questions related to payroll, benefits, HR policies, and record keepingSupport HR-related functions, such as leave reports, payroll changes, and personnel filesCoordinate consultant contracts in compliance with legal requirementsCoordinate annual performance reviews for the regionPerform full-cycle recruitment duties, including acting as immigration liaison with external legal counsel and Authorising Officer for the Home Office Immigration SystemProvide performance management and employee relations support in support of IPA managers in the EMEA region for staff in the UK and the NetherlandsLead HR compliance efforts, including GDPR and Business Travel visa requirementsCoordinate regional training requirements, including liaising with external vendorsRequired Qualifications and ExperienceCIPD qualified – minimum Level 5 or relevant experience neededProven competence obtaining Skilled Worker sponsorship and exposure to applying for overseas business visitor visas would be advantageousKnowledge of GDPR and impact to HR functionMinimum of 2 years’ experience in a generalist role with full-cycle recruitmentPrevious experience of office management would be advantageousRequired Skills and QualitiesHigh level of discretion and confidentialityExcellent interpersonal skills with ability to successfully liaise with people from other cultures and at all levels within the organisationStrong written and oral communication skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritiseDetail-oriented and proficient and accurate in typing and data entryAbility to contribute to a high-performing team and maintain a collaborative approach to the workDemonstrable superior English language written and oral communication skillsHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPointLanguage skills for Europe especially the Netherlands would be advantageous but not essentialWHY IPA?IPA is the preeminent global benchmarking and consultancy for capital projects.
