Senior Project Manager – Water Industry (WAP Schemes)Location: Hybrid (Projects across Oxfordshire & Berkshire)Employment Type: Permanent or ContractSalary: Up to £75,000 + Car / Contract Rate TBCWe’re working with a leading contractor in the UK water industry who is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to deliver key capital projects as part of the Waste Asset Assurance Programme (WAP). This is a fantastic opportunity to lead on high-value infrastructure schemes that are shaping the future of the region’s water network.The Opportunity:Our client is currently delivering two major £4 million schemes within the WAP framework, located across Oxfordshire and Berkshire. As Senior PM, you’ll be responsible for leading these projects from inception to completion, ensuring they’re delivered safely, on time, and within budget.This is a hybrid role, with the option to work from home, site, and the client’s Reading-based office.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the full project lifecycle for capital delivery schemes across the regionLead site and project teams while liaising closely with stakeholders and clientsMonitor programme performance, risk, cost, and qualityEnsure compliance with HSEQ standards across all worksProvide mentorship to junior team members and foster a strong delivery cultureWhat We’re Looking For:Experience delivering capital projects within the water or utilities sectorStrong knowledge of WAP, AMP, or similar regulatory frameworksTrack record of working under NEC contracts (preferred)Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and commercial skillsRelevant degree or equivalent industry experienceFull UK driving licenceWhat’s On Offer:Salary up to £75,000 + car allowance (for permanent candidates)Contract opportunities available – daily/hourly rate negotiableFlexible hybrid working (Oxfordshire/Berkshire sites + Reading office)A key role with a highly respected infrastructure contractorReady to take the next step?Apply now or reach out for a confidential discussion with one of our consultants.
