With a reputation for delivering complex, large-scale projects across the pharmaceutical, data center, commercial, and infrastructure sectors, we are expanding our planning team and seeking a Senior M&E Planner to support major upcoming projects in the West of Ireland.Position Overview:As a Senior Planner (M&E), you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of mechanical and electrical elements of complex construction projects. You will be responsible for developing, managing, and monitoring detailed project schedules, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring that planning aligns with client and project requirements.Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage detailed M&E programmes using Primavera P6 and/or MS ProjectMonitor project progress against key milestones and deadlines, advising the project team of any risks or delaysIntegrate M&E plans with overall construction programmesInterface with project managers, design teams, subcontractors, and clients to coordinate and communicate planning strategiesConduct regular progress reviews and generate planning reports and dashboardsEvaluate subcontractor schedules and incorporate them into the master scheduleSupport in delay analysis and forensic planning when requiredAssist in resource planning and cost-loading of programmes where applicableContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the planning functionRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related fieldMinimum 6–8 years of experience in project planning with strong focus on M&E systemsProficiency in Primavera P6 and MS ProjectIn-depth understanding of MEP installations within commercial, pharmaceutical, data centre, or industrial sectorsSolid understanding of construction methodologies and sequencingStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a dynamic project teamDesirable:Experience working in Irish or UK construction environmentsFamiliarity with BIM integration and modern construction technologiesPrevious work on large-scale industrial or cleanroom projects
