Position: Shift EngineerWhat will I get?Base Salary: Up to £32,000 per year (£15.38 per hour), depending on experience, plus a service charge of £8,000 – £9,000 gross per annum.Increased holiday allowance with length of service.Complimentary meals while on duty.Employee Referral Program: Earn £1,000 for every full-time referral (line employees).Contributory Pension Scheme*.Learning and Development opportunities to support career growth.HSF Health Plan*, including:Dental cost reimbursement.Optical cost reimbursement.Complimentary coverage for your partner and children.Exclusive Discounts:High street and grocery shopping discounts.Discounted cinema tickets and more.Gym membership discounts.Wellbeing Support:Access to a 24/7 GP advice line.Counselling services, including support for dependents.We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Shift Engineer to join ...At Sloane As the Shift Engineer, you will provide service and repairs to hotel equipment including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, refrigeration, interior, paint and decorating, and respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum guest satisfaction while complying with hotel’ policies and standards.What will I be doing as Shift Engineer?Direct and work with employees to carry out procedures ensuring an efficient check-in and check-out processTo carry out corrective and preventative maintenance on all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and audio visual equipment throughout the propertyTo carry out minor repairs to the building fabric, decorative finishes and furnishing and fittings throughout the propertyTo endeavour to meet and exceed our guests needs and expectations during their stayCarry out PPM (planned preventative maintenance)Liaise with colleague on preceding shift and check log hand over information and action accordinglyLiaise with coordinator or duty manager at the beginning of each shift to confirm attendanceTo be a member of the investigation team in the event of activation of alarms, such as fireCarry out daily fire, life and safety checks, fulfil daily plant, equipment and building inspectionsInput all non-Engineering Job log generated work requests reported to you into the engineering Job Log system and record actions and statusRecord in the handover book all relevant information, information required for follow up of any outstanding issues or incidents that may have arisen on your shift; carry out hand over procedures with colleague on following shiftWhat are we looking for?Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a luxury property (pre-opening experience is highly desirable).Must be able to speak English read and write at workStrong work ethic, agility, and clarity of thought, with the ability to complete tasks and meet deadlines under pressure, despite interruptionsWillingness to have a flexible working pattern to fit in with the needs of the business.Who are we?...At Sloane is a 5-star luxury lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Chelsea.
