We are delighted to be working in partnership with a prominent Scottish Charity to recruit an Electrical Works Manager based at the world-renowned Stirling Castle and the surrounding area. About the Role: As Electrical Works Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a skilled team of electrical tradespeople and contractors, ensuring that both routine and project-based maintenance works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Youll work closely with the wider HES teamsfrom technical specialists to tourism and commercial colleaguessupporting the ongoing care, preservation, and presentation of the charities assets for the public and future generations. Key Responsibilities: Daily deployment and supervision of electrical maintenance staff and external contractors. Managing preventative maintenance, heating and BMS systems, and signing off installation/test certificates. Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, including RAMS, toolbox talks, and site documentation. Supporting recruitment, staff development, and annual reporting. Providing technical input to projects and events, occasionally out of hours (paid overtime or TOIL). Participating in the on-call Rota (approx. once per month) with vehicle and allowance provided. Essential Skills & Experience: Up-to-date knowledge of Electrical Regulations (18th Edition). Previous experience in staff supervision or team leadership. Strong understanding of Health & Safety best practices. Proficient IT skills especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
