Job Overview: Self-Employed Landscaper and Bricklayer We are seeking a reliable and hardworking experienced Landscaper and Bricklayer to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will assist with various tasks related to landscaping and bricklaying. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions. Responsibilities: - Assist with the construction and installation of landscape features such as walkways, patios, and retaining walls. - Operate hand tools and power tools to build and maintain landscapes. - Perform regular maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding. - Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and other vegetation. - Dig trenches for irrigation systems and assist with irrigation installation. - Clean and maintain equipment after each use. - Follow safety protocols and use protective gear when necessary. Requirements: - Previous experience in laying patios and walls is required. - Knowledge of hand tools and power tools commonly used in landscaping. - Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods. - Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance. - Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques. - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. - Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Additional Information: - This is a paid position with an immediate start. - All jobs are located in the Clapham, Brixton, and Balham areas. - Work hours are from 8 AM to 4 PM daily, with the possibility of longer days to meet project deadlines, which may include some Saturdays.
