What will you be doing? You will join our Lands team, keeping an eye on our southern pipelines to be aware of both authorised and unauthorised activities along the route. You will be talking with landowners about their planned works and liaising with contractors on a daily basis to ensure any works are undertaken safely. You will also undertake signage and marker post maintenance duties to ensure the pipelines remain visible to others. In close contact with the office team, you will play an important role in ensuring landowners remain aware of the pipeline and that works near the pipeline are safe. What do we need from you? Ability to work independently and be self-motivated Good communication skills with an ability to discuss and resolve issues with 3rd parties in a confident manner. Ability to learn how to interpret and understand technical documentation e.g. maps, plan drawings, construction drawings, risk assessments, method statements (training provided). Ability to learn, use and interpret Geographic Information Systems (GIS) (training provided). Computer literate (MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) A passion for being outdoors and out and about Physically able to walk alongside the pipelines, attend onsite works and carry out maintenance on the pipeline markers Full current driving licence Ability to use a Cat & Geny (previous experience desirable but not essential) Benefits Life insurance (4x annual salary) Annual bonus (up to 12% of annual salary) 28 days holiday 8 days bank holiday Additional holiday purchase scheme Family friendly policies Employee assistance support scheme Various wellbeing initiatives Basic salary of 26,000-28,000 (DOE) overtime payments.
