Crane Worldwide Logistics is a leader in supply chain solutions with over 130 locations across 30 countries providing individual services that address our client's logistics challenges.All industries face unique shipping and logistics challenges, our goal is to provide our clients with customized supply chain solutions tailored to address their individual requirements.Essential Job Functions Lead operations team and disseminates activities on a day-to-day basisDrives product KPI compliance and milestone updatesSupports relationships with key customers and key suppliers resolving concerns, interacting with customer service, operations and sales personnel to resolve any conflicts on a timely basis.Lead Customs operations and execution with the scope of the entire countryCoordinates all transnational operations (Export, Import and Customs activities), adhering to regulations and internal proceduresEnsures all Operations teams meet customer requirements and takes corrective actions in case of deviations from requirementsProvides guidelines to Export, Import and Gateway to ensure transactional operations are consistent with group business strategy and compliant with the local business environmentMonitors quality and adherence to standards and is responsible for constant improvement and optimization of product meansDevelops a high-performance service culture within the Export and Import DepartmentsEnsures realisation of budgetary performance by setting and monitoring clear objectivesManages interface with Customer Service, Product, and Global Service Centres as requiredDirectly supports, negotiates, and administers contracts with Airlines and vendors supporting the Air ProductDevelops and oversees the Air procurement strategy, approach and business rules for carrier selection and utilizationLeads and directs engagement with carrier performance managementLeads and directs station Exports, Imports and Energy personnel on observance of operating plans supporting the air productAccountable for results of a large multi-category department, supply chain, or complex product lines, ensuring that performance meets overall business needs, including strategy, cost, cost savings, direction, and people managementEnsures performance meets overall business needs at a global and regional levelPhysical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
