The RoleWe are recruiting an Assistant HR Business Partner to be part of the newly established Independent Commission for Reconciliation and Information Recovery (ICRIR).Key ResponsibilitiesFirst point of contact for all HR enquiriesProviding advice and support to managers in handling of employment issues and the commissions disciplinary and grievance procedure. Assisting with investigations and presenting cases ensuring the procedures are followed consistentlyAdvising managers on the management of sickness and absenceProcessing payroll in the HR system in a timely mannerSupporting managers in developing and maintaining probation and performance review systemsSupporting the HR business partners with the analysis and reporting of workforce informationAssisting with the implementation of HR initiatives to ensure successful implementationSupporting the HR business partners with ad hoc projectsSupporting, developing and running policy awareness events for line managers and other people related to training and development coursesInputting information on other HR systems including annual leave tracker and online training package Monitoring successful candidates through on-boarding processSupporting managers with bi-weekly corporate induction eventsSupporting HR business partners with developing and implementing inclusion and diversity strategiesWe welcome the unique contribution diverse applicants bring and do not discriminate based on culture, ethnicity, race, nationality or national origin, age, sex, gender identity or expression, religion or belief, disability status, sexual orientation, educational or social background or any other factor.Person specificationQualificationAssociate CIPD or working towards.Essential CriteriaSound knowledge of Employment legislation and implications for workforce.Experience of using HR Information Systems.Computer literate (Microsoft, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation and within multi-disciplinary environment.Well organised, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines.Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.Awareness and understanding of the importance of confidentiality.Experience in partnering with managers to conduct training needs analysis.Desirable CriteriaExperience in using a range of analytical toolsWillingness to be assessed against the requirements for CTC clearance, if not already clearedPlease ensure you have provided reasons for any gaps within the last two years.
