As the company is growing fast, you will be prepared to be hands-on and flexible with duties as the role develops and grows with the business, working with global manufacturers across industry sectors and different global markets as part of the UK HQ team daily.This role is a new position within the business and is therefore continually shaping and evolving. This is a unique opportunity to be trained into the expertise of worldwide product acoustic certification assessments, exercising your natural affiliation to technical detail and to develop and progress within the role with time as the company continues to grow into global markets. The RoleAssist with the testing and qualification of appliances and products for Quiet Mark certification.Arranging test days at Quiet Mark HQ and overseas with external companies in a timely mannerProcessing building sector acoustic assessments with Technical Manager and/or Building Sector or Certification Managers.Supporting Technical Manager with additional Ad-hoc duties and projects as requiredUpdate and maintain databases of 100s of product categories including home technologies and building sector categories on a regular weekly basisAble to update/report back to team members on category updatesWorking with the licensing team on updating products in the records and data systemsSupporting the Technical Manager on public enquiries requiring technical responses.Responsible for logistics of receiving testing products and the returns to manufacturers.Key Skills & QualificationsGood general level of education. Maths, science and technical degree being a bonus.Fully competent in MS Excel and other basic softwareIdeally experienced in corporate technology or acoustics sector or similarPreference would be given to individuals with technical experience as a technical assistant and interest in acoustics, science, products, technology is preferable.Demonstrable ability to learn quickly, absorb new skills, and keen to train in an exciting new field of expertiseExcellent time management skills and attention to detail.Experience of fast paced work environment and meeting deadlinesCan follow instructions and procedures accurately, with positivity and in a timely, professional and efficient mannerPerksSalary: - 24k-27kContributory PensionHolidays: 25 Days plus Bank HolidaysLocation: This role is primarily remote and home based, however we require the candidate to live within a comfortable regular commutable distance of the Quiet House U.K. HQ labs based in Hassocks, West Sussex.
