Opportunity for a Legal Business & Systems Analyst to join an international Bioscience company. This role can be hybrid-working or fully remote. Role Profile:As a Legal Business and Systems Analyst, your initiatives will focus on areas such as contracting processes, matter intake and management, compliance and external spend management. You will focus on optimising our service delivery processes that meet customer needs, help identify and implement technology solutions that make the business more productive and improve colleague experience, and facilitate utilisation and understanding of data that guides decisions around resourcing and department investments. You will work closely with all departments including Legal, Commercial Operations, Corporate Accounts, Finance, Marketing, and IT.You will leverage expertise in business process mapping and application of technology, combined with data analysis, the candidate will help identify opportunities for data-driven improvements, leading to increased operational efficiencies.You will leverage digital strategies, including generative and analytical artificial intelligence, to execute on projects that drive productivity.Conduct thorough analysis of current business processes and strategies within the legal department to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives. Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including business process flows, use cases/user stories, and functional specifications. Lead the implementation and integration of legal technology solutions with other systems, ensuring seamless operation and data flow. Drive the optimal use of these legal technologies. Conduct technology assessments to determine the best tools and solutions for the Legal department.Develop methods to collect critical performance and management information. Analyse and interpret this data to identify trends and glean insights that inform business decision-making within the Legal Department around resourcing, investments, and process improvement priorities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process mapping, system configuration, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration prior to and after project completion.Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between business users and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle. Work with colleagues on the Technology and Data Analytics team to produce training materials for system releases and provide ongoing support for successful adoption of implemented technologies. Candidate Requirements:Experience in Legal Operations and knowledge of Legal processes and technology is preferred, but not required.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a similar discipline, or alternatively, a minimum of two four years of relevant professional experience. Experience in developing and deploying best practices, policies, procedures, and processes within a corporate environment.Experience working with key stakeholder groups of Legal, Commercial, and other Business FunctionsHands-on experience with digital tools and systems, including implementation and integration.Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed data analysis and interpret results to drive business decisions.Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.Familiarity with project management methodologies is a plus, but not mandatory.
