This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactiveHealth and Safety Advisorto join our established team and work with us to deliver great customer service and ongoing support to our clients. YMD Boonis a high-profile independent, multi-professional consultancy practice with over 50 years’ experience. We provide dedicated services from architectural design, building surveying, project management, maintenance, and health and safety. The Role: Provide comprehensive in-field support for H&S Management to a range of clients including education, retail, and construction. On-site support to ensure clients' working practices are safe and comply with legislation. Support in the development of local policies, procedures, and risk assessments. Undertake management audits/reviews, producing reports that suggest improvements. Produce reports to suggest improvements to management. Support property-related health and safety matters including fire safety, asbestos, and legionella management. Deliver and develop a range of CPD-accredited H&S training, including asbestos management, accident investigation, and manual handling. Undertake and support accident investigations, including production of reports and reporting under RIDDOR as required. Produce newsletters and bulletins. Maintain visible records of client visits. Liaise and support internal colleagues on health and safety matters. Maintain cloud-based platforms for eLearning and incident reporting. Key Skills and Experience: Experience in a similar outsourced health and safety support role. Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in health and safety. NEBOSH qualification is required for competency in the role. CertIOSH holder (working towards CMIOSH). Experience in the education sector is advantageous. Comfortable with digital and cloud-based systems. Strong interpersonal skills as this is a client-facing role. Team player and supportive of the wider team. Flexible.
