We are hiring relief workers to support ourexistingcare team, do you have occasional availability?Wallace Court is a residential and respite service in Elderslie, Johnstone, providing 24 hour support 7 days a week, to customers aged between 18 and 65 with physical and learning disabilities. About the RoleAs a Relief Support Worker, you will be a key member of the team, providing: High standards of support to our customers A creative and caring approach Opportunities to build strong relationships with our customers, their families and other supporting professionals Encouragement and support to live as independently as possible Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative is vital Excellent communication skills and flexibility are essential. Having a driving licence and a willingness to drive our customers' adapted vehicles is a preferred requirement. This will allow you to support our customers with social outings, medical appointments and accessing their local and wider community. Hours:0 hours (relief/bank) as and when required, to cover existing staff teams, holidays, leave or service growth. Location:Main Road, Elderslie, Johnston, PA5 9ES Capability Scotland’s benefits: A generous salary of £22,637.00 FTE / £12.60 per hour We offer a fully funded SVQ – a qualification which is yours for life. A nightshift premium rate of £13.23 per hour 32 days holidays per year, increasing to 37 with service (pro-rata) Free PVG checks throughout your employment.
