Base pay rangeDenholm has partnered with a UK market-leading FMCG brand to hire a Grocery Controller to oversee strategy of their largest retail national account customer. Working from home/hybrid/flexible-working and reporting into the Sales Director, the Grocery Controller will deliver the strategic growth plan of the Business Unit across all Brand, Own Label, NPD - and manage a team of 4 direct National Account Managers. A critical leadership role in the business, the Grocery Controller will develop, lead and support a high-performing account management team to effectively execute the annual business plan. He/She will control channel revenue, volume, tactical 'strategic channel investment and implement agreed pricing structures. To be considered, you will have demonstrated evidence of managing large UK Grocery national accounts at senior head office level. A proven track record of recruiting, coaching, and developing highly effective teams and experience of negotiating and delivering multiple and complex Joint Business Plans, including cost price increases are essential.
