We are seeking skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a fantastic food manufacturing business in South Lanarkshire. You will play a key role in the maintenance and repair of a wide range of production equipment. On Offer:£46,000 - £48,000 depending on experienceWorking 4 on 4 off (days and nights)+ Generous benefits packageKey Responsibilities:Perform maintenance activities with diligence, following all Food Safety, Health & Safety, and quality regulations.Execute planned preventative maintenance and repairs to the highest standards to maximize equipment reliabilityRespond to unscheduled maintenance, including fault finding and repairs, while identifying root causes of issues and ensuring thorough documentation of materials used, downtime duration, and corrective actions in the CMMS.Ensure necessary engineering supplies are available to complete required maintenance tasks.Identify opportunities for improvements in production lines, machinery, and operational processes.Participate in continuous improvement and productivity enhancement projects.Communicate unplanned downtime to the Engineering Shift Manager, Engineering Manager, or Production Manager, providing corrective actions and root cause analysis.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:Fully qualified and apprentice-trained Multi-Skilled Engineer.Electrical biasPrevious experience in an FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environment.Hands-on experience in food manufacturing or processing industries.Proficient in using PC-based software and CMMS systems.If you are a motivated and qualified individual with a strong background in engineering and production maintenance, we would love to hear from you.
