Brooklands Museum is the birthplace of British motorsport and aviation, and the home of Concorde. Located on the 30-acre site of the world's first purpose-built motor racing circuit and the most productive aircraft factories in Europe in the twentieth century, Brooklands Museum welcomes around 185,000 visitors each year. These are made up of members of the public, Brooklands Members, VIPs, corporate hospitality guests and school groups. The Museum is operational 7 days a week, only closing for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.As we are a visitor attraction, our priority is delivering a memorable and inspiring experience for all ensuring we meet our commitment of 'Brooklands at its best, every day'. We want everyone coming to the Museum to have the very highest quality experience and for their time spent at the Museum to be memorable, enjoyable and inspiring. So, no matter what role you join us in, you will have a very important part to play in this.We are currently looking for a Clubhouse & Café Assistant to join our current Catering & Hospitality team to provide and contribute to a working environment that is welcoming, open and inclusive to people of all backgrounds and circumstances. You will be responsible for supporting the Clubhouse and Café teams in all aspects of Catering operations in both our café and our clubhouse areas. This includes setting up function rooms and spaces for events which will involve lifting tables and chairs. You will report to our Clubhouse Manager and Retail Catering Manager and play your part to ensure that the Museum consistently provides a high-quality experience to all. We are looking for someone who has previous experience working in the hospitality industry, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be self motivated and be able to stay calm and problem solve under pressure.
