JOB TITLE: Project Manager - £90,000 - £100,000 (Building Services, Facilities Management)JOB FUNCTION: To assist with the management of the Projects department, ensuring compliance and management systems are followed and compliance levels are maintained and improved. To design, manage and take responsibility for project work ensuring that projects are completed on time on budget.LOCATION: Central LondonCONTRACT: PermanentMAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:To lead and develop project, both in-house and specialist contractors, to ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standard possibleTo work with the other departments and line managers to ensure that the departments services are meeting the expectations and requirements of specific projectsTo oversee projects to ensure that they are delivered to the highest standards and are completed on timeManage the planning and execution of office moves within agreed time framesProvide efficient reports on work progress as requiredTo liaise with Statutory authorities to ensure legal complianceManage budgets, warranties and commercial agreements with suppliers and contractorsTender and select appropriate and competent contractors/suppliersMEASURES OF PERFORMANCE:Zero defects or snags at projects completionProjects completed to programBudget, cost control managementEffective handoverAll H&S guidelines are followed with zero accidents or incidentsPERSONAL SPECIFICATION:Be an effective Team Leader Have excellent Time management skill.Experience working in a Facilities environment with ambition to learn and developExperience working in M&E environment fully conversive with building services system.Be fully up to date with Building services compliancyExperience of running development and successful complete of projects at multiple levelsHave experience estimating and develop of BudgetsExperience in contract managementBe a Good communicatorEffective leadership skillsGood at making decisions under pressure.Have experience working in a high-profile working environmentExperienced in Lead Design, managing consultants, sub-contractors, and in-house teams.MEWPS and PASMA preferableExperience in Tender all projects.H&S training (IOSH as a minimum)Project / contract management or trade certification desirable.Smart and presentable with a good attitudeAbility to work alone and to see a job through to completion.Managing a project from design to completion.Good working Knowledge of work excel.Good working Knowledge of CADWeekends and evenings are required as projects are often out of working hours, project manager needs to be on site for progress and decision making.
