We deliver projects valued between £100,000 and £60 million for public and private sector clients across diverse industries.Joining MJ Church offers an exciting and challenging opportunity for driven individuals seeking professional and personal growth in a dynamic, results-focused environment.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to support compliance across our Group’s operations and drive our sustainability and Net Zero goals. This is a pivotal role supporting multiple business units, driving our model of continuous improvement, innovation and leading industry best practice in waste and environmental management. As Environmental Manager, you will:Ensure compliance with environmental legislation, permits, licences, and statutory requirements.Support our contracting, Waste and Quarry activities in environmental, sustainability, and waste management.Lead our ISO 14001 accreditation, carbon management initiatives, and Net Zero strategies.Maintain active engagement with environment bodies such as the EA/NRW, Local Authorities, and key stakeholders.Provide strategic guidance on waste management, environmental reporting, and compliance.Deliver training, audits, inspections, and proactive environmental initiatives.Who you areYou are a driven and self-motivated individual, who places a focus on developing, mentoring and inspiring those around you in term of environmental and sustainability. You use your experience and embedded principles to develop the business integrated management system and support our operational teams in respective delivery of our contracted works.
