About the Role The Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh is a large teaching hospital known for its excellence across various specialist services. The medicine of the elderly & Stroke Unit provides multidisciplinary care to patients across four MoE wards and a Stroke unit. As part of our dynamic pharmacy team, you will work closely with the consultants, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy service. Contributing to the development and delivery of pharmacy services in response to emerging challenges around site capacity and patient flow. Essential Qualifications and Experience: A Master of Pharmacy Degree (or equivalent). Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Completed training or equivalent competence mapped to theRPS Post-Registration Foundation Pharmacist Curriculum. Skills and Attributes: Experience in proactively influencing prescribing, using clinical knowledge to optimise patient care. A strong patient-focused approach, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, enabling effective decision-making in an acute medical setting. A proactive attitude, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
