Frimley Health Foundation Trust has an exciting vacancy for a Specialist Band 7 Dietitian to cover Cystic Fibrosis and Neonatal services during a maternity cover at Wexham Park Hospital. This role will lead the dietetic care for paediatric cystic fibrosis for in and outpatients at Wexham Park Hospital. You will be responsible for the dietary assessment of patients as well as appropriate and timely intervention. The role includes leading on the Cystic Fibrosis Related Diabetes screening and working closely with the diabetes team if treatment is needed. Multi-disciplinary team working will be required across tertiary centres, adult cystic fibrosis centres and diabetes team as a central component to the nutritional assessment and management of this speciality. Travel to clinics offsite is required for the role. The neonatal role will continue the development of the service by embedding the dietetic role within the MDT, contributing towards key performance indicators, building an AHP network, and determining how the dietetic demand can be met.
