To contribute to a safer and more environmentally maritime world by providing our technical expertise and commitment to our clients and partners.Put your expertise to work in a transforming sector and actively contribute to a safer and more sustainable maritime world.We are looking for an Offshore Structure Engineer to join our team located in La Défense (92).Join a dynamic team:within our Technical Department, you will join a team specialized in reviewing the design of the structures of floating offshore units.Your role is to verify the technical compliance of your projects by performing verification calculations using our internal technical software and external software.Your main responsibilities:Evaluate the structural design compliance of various types of offshore units, topsides, or associated equipment, in accordance with applicable regulations and in various contexts: new construction, modification/conversion of a ship or unit, validation of new technologies, etc.Provide technical support to teams managing units in service for handling damage suffered by units classified by Bureau Veritas.Contribute to the operation of our international network of plan approval offices by providing support and training.Participate in the development and validation of our regulations and tools.Depending on your profile and experience, you may be involved in the technical supervision of the team.By participating in large-scale and innovative projects, you will contribute to the adoption of more sustainable maritime technologies and the reduction of the environmental impact of the maritime industry as a whole.Your strengths for success:Education and experience: you are a naval architect or a structure engineer, with solid knowledge of material strength and skills in finite element analysis.Personal qualities: you demonstrate rigor, a strong team spirit, autonomy, as well as analytical and synthesis skills.Language skills: your level of English allows you to communicate effectively with our clients, teams, and international network.You are proficient in computer tools and demonstrate good writing and interpersonal skills.You are also ready to make occasional trips abroad.Why choose Bureau Veritas?By joining our teams, you will participate in varied, enriching, and stimulating international projects.
