Our Client based in Northampton is looking for forklift/counterbalance drivers to join their busy team.You must live around the Watford Gap area in NN6 or live nearby.Shift PatternMonday to Friday 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM This is full-time work and is a night shift only; no days available.ResponsibilitiesYour primary responsibility will involve operating a forklift truck to tip and load single deck or double deck trailers with curtain sides in our pallet hub.Requirements:Hold a valid FLT Licence and must be accredited; no in-house training accepted. Attention to detail. Team player. Must have experience of at least 6 months.Additional Duties:Guaranteeing the quality of freight loading and transshipment through the hub to its destination, whether to position it in a bay area or to load it onto a waiting vehicle or stationary trailer. Conducting regular pre-checks to verify that equipment is fit for operation. Reporting instances of non-compliance/accidents/near misses/abuse/intimidation, etc. Delivering information and interacting with customer vehicle operators, if and when necessary. Confirming that reports have been created for damaged products, inadequately presented vehicles, site damage, and equipment damage, among others. Using machinery to fulfill job specifications.Please note there is no heavy lifting involved. This is a temp to perm contract.
