We are recruiting to our innovative and compassionate Reading school nursing team and are looking for a highly motivated practitioner with a warm personality and great people skills. Working within the Reading area to deliver core and targeted services to children aged 5-19 and their families, you will require excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work in partnership with other teams and agencies, along with great communication skills and a passion for working with children and families whilst being able to adapt to continuing change. Main Duties of the JobManage and organise a defined caseload, addressing the health needs of children according to evidence-based practice. Undertake in-depth health assessments for Children in Care, children who are subject to a Child Protection Plan, and vulnerable children, and work according to the Berkshire LSCB Policies and Procedures. Provide targeted health interventions to children and young people with identified health needs. Collaborate with schools, children’s social care, and other Public Health partners to deliver the universal Healthy Child Programme. Support colleagues in the delivery of compassionate, safe, and structured care.
