Mechanical Assembly Technician Benefits:Competitive salary 25 days holiday + bank holidays Company Pension Opportunities for development and progression Free on-site parking Mechanical Assembly Technician Responsibilities:Assemble mechanical and electrical components to build complex UHV systems in line with detailed engineering drawings and specifications. Carry out specialist UHV-compatible wiring and electrical testing procedures. Maintain strict cleanliness standards in line with UHV cleanroom procedures. Record pre-test data and perform QC evaluations throughout the assembly process. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by writing and updating manufacturing guides and documentation. Maintain accurate departmental records including test data, serial numbers, and quality control logs for traceability. Mechanical Assembly Technician Requirements:Prior experience in assembly - Mechanical and/or Electrical. Resilient under pressure with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. Comfortable working to tight production schedules and deadlines. Basic IT skills (MS Office). Self-motivated, organised, and punctual. Qualifications:Level 3 Mechanical Engineering or higher (HNC/HND/Degree preferred). Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience considered.
