We provide services to clients in different industries. Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivatedSenior Accountantto join our team. The ideal candidate will beACCA/ACA qualifiedwith substantial experience working in an accountancy practice. This role is pivotal in managing client relationships, overseeing junior team members, and delivering high-quality financial and advisory services. This role offers to work with a diverse client base. Key Responsibilities Prepare financial statements and reports for a variety of clients Manage and maintain client accounts and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax computations Liaise with clients to resolve queries and provide financial advice Support directors with ad-hoc tasks and projects Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial forecasts Provide strategic financial advice to clients, including cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and business planning. Provide training and support to junior staff members Skills & Qualifications: Fully qualified ACCA/ACA. Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an accountancy practice. Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards (UK GAAP/IFRS) and tax regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. TaxCalc, Iris, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to clients. Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise workload effectively. Solid IT knowledge and adaptability to new technologies. Familiarity with cloud-based accounting platforms and emerging technologies in the industry. Personal Attributes High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
